Diversity & Community Matter

Going from active to activated

IMG_2962.JPG

In order to become a truly inclusive workplace, we have to first do the work on a personal level. We have to develop a deep awareness of how privilege and white supremacy culture exists in our culture and in our bodies. It’s why in our courses we start with empathy and end with action. Our program is designed to be a jumping-off point, a place to get started. The work you do with us will prime you for a lifetime of learning and unlearning. It’s our goal to crack open what you think you know so we can begin to do the deeper work that will change your life and the lives of those that work for, with, and around you.

The Intensive

The first amongst our core values is that “diversity and community matter” because we believe that you are only as well as your community. Communities plagued by racism and suffering from the white supremacy delusion are unwell at every level. We must develop a deep awareness of how privilege insulates and bigotry harms in order to understand what can be done about it. It’s why we start with empathy and end with action.

This class is a jumping-off point—a place to get started. The work you do in this class will prime you for a lifetime of learning and unlearning. It’s their goal to crack open what you think you know so we can begin to do the deeper work that will change your life and the lives of those that work for, with, and around you.

This intensive is available in two ways: a live, virtual course, one and a half hours in length or a pre-recorded video roughly 45 minutes in length. In both we will use empathy and the personal impact of racism to prime you for the importance of this work, then we use language as a framework to understand how the white supremacy delusion operates, and we’ll wrap with action steps you can take on your new journey towards anti-racism.

The Full Program

This is a 5 module series that is designed to move through an understanding of white supremacy–cracking it open with real stories and examples, how we understand it, how it impacts business, and how we move through performative allyship to create real systemic change.
